I like that they have opened up a bit about their progress, much like other developers these days. I think Ivan Buchta have a really good point that plain realistic islands might become boring and that futher &quot;tweaking&quot; of the map might be needed.

The part of the map you see on that blog is pretty much like Northern-Nogova, exactly the kind of terrain I would prefer. Especially for guerilla tactics

I'd love to see BIS make use of an OpenGL engine so we can play it on Windows and Linux and MacOS!
A gamer shouldn't be dependent on an operating system of one company. Game developers should notice this. The only reason why I use Windows is games! I'd rather use Linux because it is cheaper and just as good as Windows.

Furthermore I hope they'll continue the way they were going. I think the guys and girls at BIS have a clear vision of what ArmA 2 should be like and I bet they won't disappoint us. Except for maybe the DirectX path.

BIS: Please use OpenGL!!!
