Its a BIG party when your are in Dutch Army Training, but also when you are a Dutch Gamer!

If you thought that the Netherlands is famous for its 'Red Light District', 'the Drug policy' and some 'crazy radio guy'

There is something new!  the Dutch Army & TNO , are checking out what the effect is on Gamers being Pwned by 'proffesionals'  

The marginal attention for VBS1-VBS2 on arma sites, due to its 'proffesional' nature,  the normal media from time to time does report quite some news. This month, in some dutch newspapers, and the Army Newspaper and the BIS forums some interesting articles surfaced. i translated a newpaper article in english, about this remarkable event.

Despite all the efforts to have the people not talk about VBS on the BIS forums,  or even stop me in my own publications on this website or shows, we do what we do best : Inform the community! 

The Dutch Army is arranging a 'contest' where civillians will fight the army.... in VBS!

Ofcourse, the contest serves a higher purpose then only 2 teams pwning eachother.

TNO - the leading dutch technological research institute is researching the behaviour of people, and if people reall learn from games, and adjust their situation awareness through games.

The event is organised by TNO and the Dutch Army, and will take place on 13 september.

As i tried to find the 'recruiting/application' form on the TNO website, but had no luck finding it yet.

It appears that some of the recruitings were held on the Royal Netherlands Army Open day

I will try my best to get a hold of a 'contestant' of this upcoming event, and other information such as the average contestant age that s participating.
